Even though our agency wasn’t the AOR for this brand, we had super solid relationships with several franchise groups nationwide. Because of that, our small but scrappy shop was able to run a constant stream of ideas up the corporate ladder for approval. As long as anything we pitched had the ten-bucks-a-month selling point front and center and a on-brand point of view, we got ‘em made.
p.s. If you think these radio spots sound an awful lot like that State Farm “Parker Promo” spot and its other TV campaign counterparts, just know you’re not the first one to notice. It’s true what they say: there are no new ideas, But these came first, around 2013 or so.
